Our tree company was built from a genuine love for the work and the community we call home.
For us, tree work wasn’t simply a business idea. It began when a young man discovered an industry he genuinely loved. Not long after graduating from high school, Travis began doing professional tree work in California’s Sierra Nevada region. What started there became a career. Over the next six years, he worked in several states, gaining experience in different specialties and learning firsthand how much knowledge, patience, and skill it takes to do tree work correctly.
Eventually, those experiences became the foundation for The Tree Guys of WTX. Today, we’re proud to bring that knowledge to the families, property owners, and businesses of San Angelo, Texas and the West Texas communities around us.
We’re still passionate about the work itself. Every tree presents a different challenge. Sometimes the answer is careful pruning. Sometimes a tree needs added structural support. Other situations call for technical climbing, specialized equipment, or a difficult removal that demands careful planning from the ground up.
Our 65-foot forestry bucket truck expands what we can safely reach while reducing the need to move heavy equipment across a customer’s property. We’re also climbers, which means our capabilities don’t end where a truck may.
Most importantly, we haven’t forgotten what this company is rooted in. We’re family-owned, West Texas proud, and committed to treating people fairly.
