We had an outstanding experience with The Tree Guys of WTX. Travis and his team were professional, very knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. They trimmed back a very overgrown trumpet vine along our fence and removed a plum tree that sadly didn’t survive the freeze. Not only did they complete the work beautifully, but they went well above and beyond what we asked. While they were here, they even took the time to secure and hammer in sections of our fence that had started to fall, carried off an old full trash can and cleaned beyond what was expected — something they absolutely didn’t have to do. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. They contacted us quickly after our inquiry, scheduled an estimate for the very next day, and sent professional email reminders along with the estimate. The work itself was completed the day after the estimate, which was incredibly efficient. It’s clear that Travis and his crew truly know trees and take pride in their work. They were friendly, respectful, and left everything looking exceptional when they finished. We will absolutely be using The Tree Guys again in the future and *HIGHLY RECOMMEND* them to anyone looking for reliable, knowledgeable tree professionals. We love The Tree Guys! A++
10/10 would recommend! Super fast response and professional. They did a great job on a tough tree!
I would recommend The Tree Guys of WTX if you’re having any kind of issues with trees. These guys know it all when it pertains to trees. They do great work trimming, pruning, and just taking care of trees. In addition to pruning and trimming our trees, they also treated our trees with some stuff that would make our trees healthier. And after all of that, the cleanup was amazing. They went out of their way to make sure that our yard look better than it did when they arrived. Honestly, if you want your trees done right, call The Tree Guys. You won’t be disappointed!
I have used The Tree Guys of WTX for several years and their work has been fantastic! Alway on time very professional; always happy with the results.
I highly recommend this company! If you are in the need for excellent service, this is the place to call. They are very professional., and did an outstanding job. They were fast, and cleaned up nicely. My tree looks 10 times better. Thank you, very much appreciated.
He was quick to answer my call. Others did not. Got me a very fair quote. Got to the job in a hurry. Did an unbelievable job. Left my yard cleaner than what he found. Communication was top notch. Would recommend to anyone.
Did a great job trimming a huge old mesquite tree! Good price and a good clean up! Thank you! We will be calling again.
Travis and crew did a great job. He came right away since the storm had pulled my two trees up from the ground. They also left the work area nice and tidy.
The Tree Guys of WTX called me back right away and came by soon after to provide an estimate. In the past, some other local tree companies wouldn’t even return my messages. They showed up on time to do the work with the right equipment and knowledge. I was impressed with their attention to safety, which is the most important aspect of any project. They protected any items that might have been damaged by falling limbs. They carefully removed what was needed to be removed, making the trees function and look good. One tree was a special case due to prior damage, but now I’m confident it is stable. The clean-up effort was excellent. And they used a wood chipper, which is a better option than hauling off limbs. Highly recommend hiring these pros, not some amateurs.
Called for a quote, super friendly and was able to get the tree trimmed same day. Great service!
Omgosh!! Such a great experience. About 7-8 months ago, I hired another “business” to trim and shape my trees…they deserve a negative number. Travis from The Tree Guys of WTX is a keeper! He was prompt. He communicated! He was thorough and answered questions. He came back to do the work when he said he would. The quote was accurate. My trees are beautiful. In addition, Travis was polite and friendly…which has been really hard to find in San Angelo businesses so far. Thank you so much, Travis.
The Tree Guys of WTX did a fantastic job with trimming our trees. I called for a free consultation and scheduled with them the very next day! Super fast and reliable service! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone needing tree services!
These guys did an awesome job. We had a huge tree cut down and removed from our front yard. They also did an awesome job trimming some other trees we have. I would definitely recommend these guys for their hard work on tree trimming and removal.
Travis & his assistant did a great job of taking down a large Ash tree that needed to be removed. He did it in a timely/safe manner & was very professional. We will be calling you guys again to come trim some trees for us. Thanks again!!
Was a nice guy and very knowledgeable about his job. Easy to talk too.
The Tree Guys of WTX are the real deal—in experience and knowledge and character. Watching them take down a huge mesquite that was 90–100 years old was amazing. That takes a knowledge of physics and engineering and math and knot-tying and chain saws and climbing and more. Travis and Bryan did a marvelous job, start to finish. Trustworthy and kind as well as strong and able.
Travis and Michael did a great job. They gave me an estimate one evening and were able to start the next morning. They made sure I was happy with the trees before moving on. I definitely recommend The Tree Guys of WTX!
Travis and Kevin did a fabulous job on my very tall and overgrown tree. The job was quoted and completed within two days. Very impressed!
Wow!! Amazing service, price and convenience. Cleaned up my yard and did better than promised. Would definitely recommend these guys.
Their team came out and did an amazing job. For starters they were on time and stayed until the job was done. The tree looks so much better than before. They also cleaned up all the branches that were on the ground. Both individuals were professional the whole time and they answered any questions I had about the job being done. They both were very respectful and had great appearance and customer service skills. I would recommend The Tree Guys of WTX to anyone who needs a job done.
A big thank you to The Tree Guys of WTX who provided great service from the estimate to tree trimming and removal/cleanup.
From the consultation/bid through cleanup, Travis & Michael were extremely respectful & polite, professional and service oriented! Cutting down my trees were a challenge. I was very satisfied with their bid and the work that was completed! I will use The Tree Guys of WTX again! Addison, (office staff) is very friendly & helpful, too!
The work they did was excellent! They were very fast and cleaned up everything. The quality of their work was outstanding. I will be using them again! Thank you.
They did a great job! The trees look fabulous. Definitely will use them again.
Very good experience. Did everything I wanted and cleaned everything up. Very professional in work and appearance. Would recommend them highly.
These guys did a great job of trimming my trees. They were very courteous & professional. Did a wonderful cleanup job as well. I certainly recommend them & will be keeping their name & number for the future.
Travis is knowledgeable and made sure to explain his process and findings. The clean-up is great too!
The Tree Guys of WTX were fantastic! We hired Travis and his crew (Michael and Brian) to do a full overhaul on a property with decades of neglect, and they knocked it out of the park. Travis was able to make a very fair, in-person bid on the same day that I called and complete the job within the same week – a nice contrast to some of the other places I contacted with months-long waiting lists for bids alone. All told, it was 15-ish trees and two days’ work of tricky technical work: removing dead trees, trimming live ones (including ancient ones looming over our house and the neighbor’s place) and pulling stumps. They were able to turn a very vague homeowner request into a very detailed bid, and in turn, excellent work. We couldn’t be happier with the results.
Pros:
o Very easy to contact and schedule by phone and online – good availability
o Picked up all debris and hauled it away
o Friendly, polite, easy to work with, and fully equipped with safety gear the entire time.
o Owner-operated and no subcontracting; the same person who made the bid was the one doing the work, which meant that they knew exactly what we wanted done without any additional input from us.
o Efficient use of equipment: did all the lift-enabled work on one day to save on costs, using a bucket lift machine small enough to access the yard from a narrow back alley
o High degree of technical knowledge
o Military/veteran discount
o A detailed, competitive bid, and stuck to it
o Rescued two orphaned kittens they found
o Great results: trees, homeowners and neighbors are all a lot happier
Cons:
o I could see availability shrinking slightly as word gets around about the quality of their work. As of right now, however, if you need a difficult tree job done well and done quickly, these are the people to call.

Experienced, professional, personable, reasonable pricing. I highly recommend Travis and his personnel!!
We had two Oak trees removed and had three Oak trees treated for bores and in the past we had our trees trimmed to raise the canopy. I feel confident working with Travis and his team as he is reliable and spot-on with his work. He has done work for me several times and I have never been disappointed.
Guys were super kind, punctual, had excellent communication, and did a great job removing our hazardous tree!
Travis and The Tree Guys of WTX delivered an awesome job on cleaning up the property line for me and my neighbor. The work was done at a fair price, especially in a day and age where time is money. Even after some miscommunication, the situation was handled with understanding and patience. Job well done all the way around and would recommend to anyone.
Travis was very nice. I needed trees removed from my yard and the work was done efficiently and effectively. Clean-up was excellent, price was fair. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
The Tree Guys of WTX were professional, timely, kind, and so helpful with our tree removal job. We couldn’t be happier with their work! We will definitely be using them again for any of our tree needs! Thank you so much!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Super friendly and reasonable prices. Not only did they take down a 60-foot mostly dead pecan with branches threatening to fall on my neighbor’s house – there wasn’t a single twig left behind. Not a one! I gave them permission to back up a trailer through my front yard. Not only did they call me to confirm they could drive on the yard the day of the appointment, they told me it would leave ruts in the yard and offered to take a pitchfork to get rid of the ruts as best they could when they were finished. Amazing job. Amazing service. 100% recommended to anyone that needs a tree taken down.
The Tree Guys of WTX – Mike, Travis, and team – are professional, friendly, excellent tree service experts. They provided a fair estimate, did a great job cutting and removing a downed tree in our back yard. Removal of branches and clean-up were outstanding. I recommend this team for all your landscaping projects or needs.
I had 2 very large trees removed that had become hazardous to my neighbors and our properties. They had a lot of rotten limbs and were also heavily infested with mistletoe. Travis did a great job of communication and left the yard looking just as good if not better than it was before. I am pleased with their work.
The 3rd tree service to work on my property and the only one who got it right and actually do what he said he would do. A man of his word. I’d recommend them any time to anyone.
Highly recommended tree services, Travis and his team did an excellent job in removing the hazardous tree in front of my house. I really appreciate the The Tree Guys of WTX for the Job well done. Once again, thank you, Travis and your team.
Friendly & professional! Travis and his staff are pros!! They did an amazing job on some of our extremely tall pecan trees. Highly recommend!
These guys (Travis, Brian, and Michel) did an amazing job. They were incredibly perceptive in skillfully giving my property the TLC it needed. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in figuring out a good maintenance plan and planning future projects. Highly recommend.
Reasonable price and excellent work. They did more than originally agreed to. Timely professional work by a pleasant team. A great experience. I recommend these guys, and will use them again if the need arises.
Travis was so professional! He came out for a consult right after I called him & showed up on time! He did the work of trimming trees & cutting one down. He raked & hauled off all the limbs & leaves leaving it clean as a whistle. He did what he said he would do and let me know if he was going to be a few minutes late. A super nice guy and I would highly recommend his services!
These guys did a phenomenal job cleaning up my big live oaks and mesquite. Even took down a tree about to fall on my quail run without any damage. Definitely keeping their number for future tree work! On time and they back their word with their work.
These guys did a fantastic job! I highly recommend them and I will use them again in the future.
On time, conscientious, safety minded. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again. A job well done!
The Tree Guys of WTX were great to work with. They were highly recommended and didn’t disappoint.
I recently had Travis and another one of his employees come and cut down a very large tree that died. I feel like we got a very fair price and great service! I was impressed at how quickly they got the tree down and cut into manageable pieces. They did a great job picking up the debris after they finished. I highly recommend them!
Very professional and prompt. They do what they say they will do. Cleaned up every day before leaving the job site. I highly recommend them and will use them again.
Amazing work! These guys were so professional, so kind, and communicated with us so well. From coming out and looking at our tree to getting the job done, they did great. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to get any tree work done. We will stick to using them from here on out!
From bidding the job to competition of work, they did excellent! Quick, cleaned up everything and worked through the rain! I will be using them again! Thank you.
From start to finish, these guys are OUTSTANDING!!! I highly recommend them for their professionalism and integrity!
I cannot recommend The Tree Guys of WTX enough! From start to finish, they exceeded every expectation I had. The crew was professional, courteous, incredibly knowledgeable, and treated my property with respect. They did a fantastic job trimming my trees—they look healthier, more balanced, and absolutely beautiful. They also treated my trees and took the time to explain what they were doing and why, which I really appreciated. It’s clear they care about the long-term health of the trees, not just getting the job done. When they finished, my yard was spotless. You would never have known they had just completed such a big job, except my trees looked a thousand times better. Finding a company that takes this much pride in their work is rare these days. If you’re looking for honest, hardworking professionals who truly care about their customers and the quality of their work, The Tree Guys of WTX is the company to call. They have earned a customer for life, and I won’t hesitate to recommend them to family and friends!
Travis and team do a superior job. Very friendly and professional. Best price too.
We had a really great experience working with The Tree Guys of WTX taking down a massive old Pecan tree. Travis and the crew came out on a super hot summer day tackling this tree that had a very difficult landing zone for the branches, with power lines running right next to the canopy, and our swimming pool on one side of the tree. They artfully handled the tree and got the job done nicely. They even helped us tarp the pool to avoid as much sticks and dust as possible. Highly recommend and would call them again next time I have a tree issue.
Knowledgeable group, did a great job at removing the tree and cleaning up. Best estimate provided. Very happy.
They did a great job! Left the area clean and other than the trees being trimmed you couldn’t tell they had been there. Thank you very much!
They removed a dying red oak tree I had in my yard and also removed the stump. Super friendly and easy to communicate with. Will definitely use again, I highly recommend them!
Excellent! They arrived on time, got started, and completed a tree removal and thinning/pruning on 3 other trees. They worked very safely and everything was cleaned up before they left. Highly recommend The Tree Guys of WTX.
I needed a large branch cut down asap. The Tree Guys of WTX came out and did a quick and fantastic job. Will def be calling them again to take care of some trees. Great job!
Travis & the guys have done both tree trimming & tree removal for us. They are super friendly, professional, and reliable. If Travis tells you he will be there, he will. They do what it takes to get the job done right, and they uphold high standards. We are very impressed by them & will always use and recommend them! Thank you for running such an excellent service business!
We needed trees trimmed and removed and Travis and his team did an excellent job! Quick response time, friendly service, and quality work. Definitely recommend them!
The Tree Guys of WTX are friendly and professional all the way around! They did a great job trimming our two oak trees in the front yard. They contacted me very quickly and set up a time the following day to come give us an estimate. They emailed reminders as well as the estimate. They did the work the day after the estimate, and they did a great job. They are very knowledgeable about trees. We will use them again, and I highly recommend them. We love The Tree Guys!
Travis was very responsive, showed up when he said they would, and left my yard better than they found it. They performed all work as requested and within a reasonable price/timeframe. Would definitely recommend!
The Tree Guys of WTX know how to satisfy a customer with price and friendly service. They did everything they said they would. I would recommend their tree service 100%. Very friendly guys.
Travis and his employee were not only quick, but they were also extremely friendly! Each and every question I asked was answered in a way that was easy to understand. They ensured the area was clean when they finished or went to lunch and did not leave trash or tools strung out all over the place. I will be referring anybody wanting tree service to them. Awesome guys and superb work! Thanks guys!
Called two bigger companies in town and they didn’t pick up the phone or call back. The Tree Guys of WTX answered right away and came out the same day to give me a free estimate. Travis came out the next morning and did a fantastic job! Quality work and customer service with this company. The Tree Guys were fast and professional and understood everything I wanted done. Only company I will call and recommend!
After watching Travis and his crew do my neighbor’s trees, they did such a good job and were very reasonable and did a great job on ours. Highly recommend them.
They did an excellent job, in a timely manner, very professional. Great clean up. Highly recommend them for your tree services.
Great service and good quality work. They showed up on Monday to quote the job, and completed the job on Tuesday. We called the local “tree experts” in town but they wanted twice the price and wouldn’t return our calls. The Tree Guys of WTX were very reasonable in price and very professional in their work. Our tree looks great, the yard was cleaned up, and we couldn’t be happier!! If you want real “tree experts,” go with The Tree Guys of WTX!!!
They did an AMAZING job from start to finish! Overall very professional and easy to work with. We will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you for bringing life to our yard!
Very professional. Had a huge dead tree stump and they had it gone in less than an hour. Cleaned up after and can’t really tell the stump was even there. Highly recommend their services.
These guys are awesome and do a fantastic job. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with them as well as watching them work and how cautious they are to not damage anything and do an amazing job just like they said. This is definitely an ethical, trustworthy, and certainly a veteran-friendly company that I appreciate very much. Thank you, gentlemen, for such a great experience.
Great job on my pecan tree. Friendly, knowledgeable, honest. Cleaned up everything like they were never there! Excellent job! Looks great!!! Kudos!!!
My parents are elderly with very poor mobility and limited income. This company was affordable, reliable and best of all friendly. The company was fast and easy to work with, had huge tree limbs that the city cut down because of proximity to the power lines, but needed to be hauled. After a quick phone call, they stopped by a few days later and got the job done with no issues. I would recommend them 10 out of 10 to anyone!
Great price, quick service!! They took the time to move my backyard furniture and grill out of the way and put it back when they were done! They even took some other branches that I cut down on my other trees without asking! Friendly, professional all the way!
The Tree Guys of WTX did a great job on removing a dead tree. Cleaned up the area, and it seemed like the tree was never there to begin with. Definitely recommend these guys.
We’ve had stumps removed then asked them to come back for tree trimming. They were very busy, professional, cleaned up the mess from the jobs, very reasonably priced and overall nice guys! Definitely will have them come back for any future needs.
